Maria Jude

  Maria Jude believes that good food is a human right. Maria is the president of Ryerson Students for Food Security and Co-Lead of the networking Committee on the Toronto Youth Food Policy Council. She is currently studying Nutrition with a Minor in Sociology and a Certificate in Food Security Studies at Ryerson University. She hopes to alleviate student food insecurity during her time at Ryerson through the student group along with the collective action of similar on-campus initiatives like Meal Exchange and the Good Food Center. Within her future career as a Public Health Dietitian, Maria intends to advocate for food policy action, poverty reduction, and food insecurity alleviation.
