Molly Pratt is the Communications and Research Officer for the Arctic
Institute of Community-Based Research, a unique Northern non-governmental
organization based in Whitehorse, Yukon. She works on a variety of projects related to
food security, healthy lifestyles, climate change adaptation, and youth
engagement doing research, writing, project management and coordination, mapping,
communications, curriculum development, and knowledge mobilization. Her academic
background is in public health and nutrition with a focus on
Indigenous/maternal child health. Molly is passionate about the influences that our
environment have on our health and believes in working from a strength-based
perspective with communities to advance positive social change and health
equity in the North.
