
Bobby Grégoire
Bobby Grégoire is the co-initiator of Quebec first Online sustainable food school l'Atelier du goût.
He is passionate about food since a young age, Bobby Grégoire is a self-taught chef who cares about the cultural, environmental and ethical aspects of food.
Bachelor in Communications in the Cultural Researches and Animation Program at UQAM, he also took courses in the Certificate in Gastronomy Management and Sociocultural Practices. He has nearly 14 years in the kitchen as a caterer and then chef at home. He was subsequently hired to set up a coffee counter in a Rosemont grocery store before joining the Tablée des Chefs team as the Cooking schools Chef in 2014. He also participated as a teaching Chef for À vos frigos anti food waste workshops for Earth Day Quebec for 3 years.
To date, he has given more than 300 workshops and cooking classes, nearly a hundred food conferences and about 50 media interviews, both in Quebec and internationally. He helped set up Mtl à Table for Tourism Montreal and participated in the launched the documentary Theater of Life at Phi Center with Chef Massimo Bottura.
He also strives to change the world through the plate with the Slow Food movement, in which he is involved as a volunteer since 2008. He occupied several leadership positions from Slow Food in Canada co-President for 4 years to Slow Food Montreal leader for 8 years. Today, he continues to be involved as Slow Food International Councilor for Canada and Co-coordinator of the Slow Food Chefs Alliance for Canada program.
