
Sarah Berger Richardson
Sarah
Berger Richardson is a Schulich Fellow at Dalhousie University (Schulich School
of Law). She is also completing a doctorate at the Faculty of Law at McGill
University. Her research focuses on the relationship between science and ethics
in food law and policy, particularly the social and cultural values underlying
food safety regulations. Recently, she worked as a consultant with the Canadian
Agri-Food Policy Institute, providing policy advice to the Government of
Northwest Territories for their implementation of an agriculture regulatory
framework. Sarah completed her masters of law (LL.M) at Tel Aviv University,
where she was a research fellow at the Manna Center in Food Safety and Security.
Previously, she was a law clerk at the Supreme Court of Israel and the Canada
Agricultural Review Tribunal. She is a member of the Law Society of Upper
Canada and Food Lawyers of Canada.
