
Reena Reddy is a facilitator, trainer and Manager of Agency Relations at Daily Bread Food Bank in Toronto. Alongside an incredible team, she supports 170 food banks and meal programs to provide accessible and dignified services to people experiencing hunger and poverty. Reena uses a popular education approach in her trainings and work, drawing on life experiences to engage staff and volunteers at food programs in understanding the complexities of anti-oppression theory and practice in food programs. She has led workshops on anti-racism, classism and transphobia, as well as consensus decision-making, facilitation and conflict resolution. She has experience in strategic business development within the tech sector, rights-based research and policy development for non-profits, and a decade of community organizing. Reena identifies as a trans*/genderqueer immigrant and settler who is obsessed with food.
