Mary McKenna, PhD, is a Professor in the Faculty of Kinesiology and an Assistant Dean in the School of Graduate Studies at the University of New Brunswick in Fredericton, Canada.  She teaches health and interdisciplinary studies and conducts research on school food and nutrition policies and is active in several related groups, including the Coalition for Healthy School Food.  In 2015, she was the program chair for the Changing the Menu conference in Montreal, the first Canadian conference devoted to school food. Dr. McKenna also worked at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) as a Health Scientist.  She is a graduate of Nova Scotia Agricultural College, McGill University, Cornell University, and the University of Nottingham.
