Farmers/peasants in Canada and internationally are building agroecology from the ground up, using both practical skills-building and political training. In many countries, this work has led to mass mobilizations of peasants/farmers and significant social/political shifts. What lessons can we draw here in Canada from the successful methodologies of La Via Campesina and its members globally?
