The cost of the health impacts related to food is ballooning–diet-related disease, food insecurity, environmental contamination–but our responses are fragmented. Panelists will take a deep dive into the food-health nexus, and explore how we can bring food into a more central place in how we understand and promote health. Experts in Indigenous foodways, sustainable agriculture, and innovations to improve fresh fruit and vegetable access will explore strategies, how they can support each other, and where they are falling short.
