Building food literacy in youth is key to empowering the next generation to take part in a more sustainable food system. However, there is lot of complexity with this work including issues of access and affordability, loss of traditional practices, and environmental and human impacts on food choices and systems. Come hear representatives from innovative food projects discuss the ways they engage with youth, including food growing, school programs, leadership development and dialogue on anti-oppression.
