The Traditional Food Project, an initiative of Nourish: The Future of Food in Health Care, aims to increase the acknowledgement and accessibility of Indigenous foods in healthcare settings through advocacy and knowledge sharing, contributing to reconciliation through food. Nourish is a national program for innovators shaping the future of food in health care. The panel will share insights from our team's recent systems mapping gathering with Indigenous communities. There will also be the opportunity for workshopping strategies to acknowledge and serve traditional food and to give participants the chance to explore how they can contribute to the work of public institutions using food as a pathway to reconciliation.
