Social economy food initiatives are multiplying and diversifying everywhere. The social economy, broadly understood as economic activities with a social purpose, is playing an active and leading role in the emergence, development and sustainability of food initiatives. Beyond the multiplicity of projects, how can we stimulate networking, collaboration, and promotion of a social economy that supports a more just, healthier and sustainable food system for all? What are the policies, financial tools and resources needed to ground this work to best serve communities.
