Northern Food Sovereignty: Actions taken and lessons learned

In the context of initiatives that teach skills, promote cultural resurgence and encourage food sovereignty, this session will explore elements of success, ways to define it, common challenges, operational approaches, regulatory considerations, ways to overcome barriers and of course the impacts being seen by these programs. The goal is to share insights and lessons learned from programs in Northern Manitoba and to generate discussion about their use in other places.
