What role, past and present, have settler food systems played in the colonization of Indigenous land? What impact has this had on Indigenous food systems? This collaborative session provides the opportunity to have a real discussion about colonial food systems, the distinctions between Indigenous and non-Indigenous conceptions of “food sovereignty”, and how those ideas have played out on the land.
