Question Period

Our next federal election is fast approaching. Whichever party comes into power, we need to ensure that building a healthy, just and sustainable food system is high on their agenda. Food movement leaders will exchange with elected MP from political parties across the spectrum on the four themes of Canada’s food policy: food security, healthy and safe food, environmental concerns and economic growth. This policy plenary is an opportunity for dialogue between federal politicians and food movement leaders – a chance to ask questions, discuss ways to overcome policy barriers and ensure our next federal food policy reflects the values and objectives of the food movement.
