Food is powerful. Three times a day, whether at home or at a restaurant, the simple acts of gathering around a table and choosing the food on our plates plays a powerful role in shaping our food system. This panel explores how different actors in Québec work to strengthen the link between farmers and consumers, ultimately influencing what we buy and eat. Moderated by the editor-in-chief of Caribou magazine, Geneviève Vézina-Montplaisir, this panel will feature Dyan Solomon, co-owner of Olive & Gourmando; Étienne Huot, chef of La Récolte; Julie Aubé, nutritionist and founder of the Prenez le champs events; Louis Lafortune, partnership development and supply manager with the Paysage Solidaire urban agriculture project, and Maud Lapierre-Courtemanche, supply manager at the Ferme des Quatre-Temps.
